Pet Sculptures

I started my ceramics journey on the wheel, but was later introduced to sculptural and hand-building techniques. As I began experimenting with different forms I eventually worked on a portrait of a specific dog. I quickly fell in love with this way of working, translating my love of portraiture into three dimensions. 

I enjoy trying to capture the unique personality of each pet. When I sculpt, I focus on the small details—gestures, expressions, and posture—that make an animal feel recognizable and alive.
